Progressive Farmer’s 2007 Idea House Under Construction

Progressive Farmer’s 2007 Idea House is under construction in Gillespie County, nine miles northeast of Fredericksburg in the Cool Water Ranch residential acreage development. The home was designed by Mark Carlson, AIA, of Cornerstone Group Architects in Austin, and is being built by Richard Laughlin, president of Laughlin Homes and Restoration in Fredericksburg, Texas. The home will be open for touring this summer and is the fifth sucfifth home to be built across America by Progressive Farmer, a magazine owned by Time, Inc. Part of the proceeds from the open house this summer will benefit the Gillespie County Historical Society.
