Tax Free Shopping This Weekend August 17 -19

The state sales tax holiday is this weekend --- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The law exempts most clothing and footwear priced under $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend. Some of the tax-free items include baby clothes, backpacks for use by elementary and secondary students, belts, boots, coats, dresses, gym suits, jeans, shirts, shoes, shorts, sweaters and more.
