Old Fashion Molasses Making at LBJ State Park & Historic Site - 9/5
Come to LBJ State Park & Historic Site on Highway 290 East in Stonewall to learn about molasses and molasses making on an 1900's farm. Enjoy learning what German settlers used this product for and what they made with a wood burning stove that were family favorite recipes. It will be a day of good old family fun at the history farm, and all the buildings will be open and park interpreters dress in period custom will take you back in time. This event is free, with donation gladly accepted.
