Pioneer Opportunities Party Showcase - 9/17

The Pioneer Museum will be a showcase of tents, tasty food, a variety of vendors, and continual live music at the first Pioneer Opportunities Party Showcase (POPS) in Fredericksburg on Thursday, September 17.


Hosted by the Gillespie County Historical Society and The Marquee Event Group, this event is designed to showcase the Pioneer Museum grounds and buildings as a venue for meetings, conferences, weddings, and family celebrations. It is also a destination for anyone planning a celebration, event, wedding, meeting, conference, or reunion for 12 to 1,500people.


Guests at the POPS event will enjoy


- presentations from 36 artists, florists, photographers and other event vendors


- wine tastings


- free samples from five caterers and Sophie’s Choice Bakery


- live musical entertainment changing hourly


- drawings for door prizes


Clear River Pecan Company will have box lunches for sale at the Outside Cafe, where guests will be seated at tables with umbrellas under the shade of the pecan trees.


During the day, the Marquee Event Group will display the air-conditioned tent, dance floor, band area, luxury loo, air-conditioned tent, tables, chairs, and linens they are providing for the evening event.


The daytime showcase runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pioneer Museum, 325 West Main, Fredericksburg TX. Admission during the day is $5 per person at the gate. That includes admission to the museum grounds, all building, and all exhibits.
