Grapetown School Open House & BBQ Benefit - 4/30

As part of the Friends of Gillespie County Country Schools’ History Country School Trail open house promotion, the Grapetown School and Teacherage at 7325 Old San Antonio Rd. off Hwy 290 E. will be open to the public this Saturday, April 30 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Former students will be present on this day as the school will celebrate a school reunion. Join the fun – tour this 1887 school and, while there, enjoy a meal as organizers are hosting a BBQ fund-raiser on site at 11:00 a.m. Cost for the chicken plate meal is by donation.
