Dogvember Fest - 11/1

Throw us a bone! 1st Annual event to be held at the future site of the Fredericksburg Dog Park located in Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park on Highway 16 south. Bring the family and your leashed dogs and enjoy the festivities, donate and tour the land granted by the City of Fredericksburg! Activities include “Yoga with Your Dog” at 9 am, “Get Fit with Fido” at 10:30 am and contests for Best Dog Tricks, Best Dog Costume and Best Dog & Owner Costume – judging begins at 11:10 am. 8:30 to 11:30 am.

All donations will support the construction of the Fredericksburg Dog Park.

Luckenbach's Harvest Classic Motorcycle Rally - 10/17-18

European bike rally, live music and fun in the world famous Texas town of Luckenbach, Texas.

Organized by Central Texas Motorcycle Charities, this gathering of Classic and European motorcycles raises money for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer program of Any Baby Can. CROP Walk: Hill Country Hike for Hunger - 10/19

A 5K walk around Fredericksburg or a “Golden Mile” for those who cannot walk the 5K. Walkers collect donations to benefit world hunger relief. 75% of proceeds goes to Church World Services or the denomination of your choice and 25% goes to the local Food Pantry. Event begins at Bethany Lutheran Church. 2:30 pm registration.

United Methodist Women's Bazaar - 10/16

Join the United Methodist women at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 N. Llano Highway, from 9 am until 2 pm, as they host their annual bazaar. Shop for handmade gifts, baked goods and attic treasures. This event benefits local and foreign mission outreach programs.

6th Annual Harper BBQ Cookoff Fundraiser - October 10

11th Annual Shopping For A Cause--Shopping Tournament - 9/13

“Shopping for a Cause”, this 11th annual shopping tournament gathers shoppers in costumed teams of four to shop in over two dozen stores along historic Main Street with special discounts, food, drinks and more.  All proceeds go to the Fredericksburg Boys and Girls Club

Fredericksburg Community Orchestra Fundraiser playing in Luckenbach Texas - 6/12

The Fredericksburg Community Orchestras announce their 3rd Annual “Bach at the “Bach” fundraising event to be held on the outdoor stage in Luckenbach, Texas, 412 Luckenbach Town Loop. FCO string ensemble and childrens ensembles will perform favorite selections from the season. The public is invited to attend and enjoy string music and a meal. Boxed dinners of pulled pork or BBQ sandwich, tea, cookie and chips will be served by the Feed Lot at Luckenbach. T-shirts will also be available. Tickets are $25 for the music and meal or $15 for the music only. Purchase tickets online.

Proceeds go to the Fredericksburg Community Orchestras, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to promote string music education for all ages in Fredericksburg and surrounding communities.

Paddy's Party at Pat's Hall - 3/29

Just as it has since 2006, this event pays tribute to “Paddy”, a little abused dog who has flourished since her adoption from SPCA.  Featuring dinner, dancing, drinks and a silent and live auction to raise money to help support the animals at the Hill Country SPCA.  This year’s event will be held at historic Pat’s Hall and will feature live music by The Cactus Country Band.  Tickets may be purchased at the Hill Country SPCA or by calling (830) 990-9085.

“Pianorama” at Pat’s Hall - 2/22

PIANORAMA IS BACK!

Pat’s Hall is pleased to announce that Pianorama is returning on February 22. They’ll have Johnny Nicholas, Floyd Domino, Danny Levin and Red Young, all who performed at last year’s Pianorama.

This year, Earl Poole Ball will be joining the group. Earl was a member of Johnny Cash’s Band, and has also worked with Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell, Linda Ronstadt, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Buck Owens and the Buckaroos, Freddie Hart, Wynn Stewart, Rick Nelson, Marty Robbins, Marty Stuart, Mickey Gilley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Along the way, he has acquired the nickname of “Mr. Honky Tonk Piano.” The talent on the stage will be quite incredible. Just talk to anyone who was at the show last year.

This performance benefits Fredericksburg Youth Music Programs. Food will be available for purchase, as well as a beer and wine cash bar.

They’ll set up the hall as they did last year, reserving tables/seats with ticket purchase. Tickets sold at the door are for general admission (non-reserved) seats. The sooner you order your tickets, the better seats you’ll have!
