Fireworks Jamboree This Saturday at Double B Ranch Resort

The Fireworks Jamboree will be held this Saturday (June 30) from 4:00 p.m. to midnight at Beaux Hickey’s Pavilion at Double B Ranch Resort, near Harper. Lots of family fun! July 4th Begins This Weekend at Rockbox Theater

Rockbox Theater presents 'Old Glory & Grace' for a limited run this weekend only, along with a special 4:30 Wednesday July 4th show.


'Old Glory & Grace' is a roller coaster ride with music from the golden era of rock n roll to filling hearts with a wave of patriotism in a 1940's USO show.

Blood Drive for Military

The Knights of Columbus Council 9765 will be sponsoring a blood drive that specifically will benefit U.S. troops wounded in conflicts around the globe. Hill Country Children's Theater (HCCT) Presents 'A Pirate's Tale' - 6/23

Tickets for HCCT's eleventh, stage production - “A Pirate’s Tale”, will be available on Friday, May 11th. The original, two-act play, which takes actors and audiences into the exciting world of 17th century Caribbean pirates. Opening on June 23, 2007, the show will appear at the First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville on June 23, 24, 29, 30 and July 1, 2007. The Point Theatre will host the final weekend dates of July 6, 7 and 8, 2007. All shows begin at 7:30pm, except Sunday matinees are at 3:30pm. Tickets for the show are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Group discounts are available, and all active-duty military personnel are welcome to attend the shows for free. Children 12 years of age and younger always have free admission. Contact the office for ticket outlets and any other show information.A Silent Auction will also be held during the show; proceeds to benefit the children's theater and it activities.

Presentation on Wind Powered Electric Generators and Impact on Land Ownership

JUNE 14: 6PM to 8PM Participate in hands-on workshop for exploring techniques, an evening full of tips and inspiration. Experiment with creative ideas for capturing your adventures --- via sketches, watercolors, or by collaging "treasures" from your wanderings in nature. A selection of watercolor and sketching materials including fine Italian paints and paper, fine art pens, wide array of journals and more will be available at our onsite farm store (or feel free to bring your own art supplies).
