Ragin' Cajun Wine Event - 2/21

The wineries making up the Fredericksburg Wine Road 290 invite you to participate in Ragin' Cajun event Saturday, February 21. Each of the wineries will team with a top restaurant in the Texas Hill Country to present Ragin Cajun. No ticket to buy, just drive to each of the wineries and get your serving of a Cajun dish paired with a sample of that winery’s fine wine.

Merlot & Chocolates at Becker Vineyards - 2/15-16

Hill Country Wine Lovers Trail - 2/7-23

Grab your sweetheart and enjoy scenic hill country driving while visiting area wineries participating in the annual Hill Country Wine Lover's Trail. This romantic "trail" winds through sleeping vineyards to cozy wineries. Enjoy sweetheart dinners, wine, enchanting food pairings, and chocolate!

Port and Pairings on Wine Road 290 Trail - 1/10

Black Eyed Pea and Cornbread Cookoff at Torre De Pietra Winery

It’s said in Texas that those who partake of the magical black eyed pea on New Year’s Day will benefit with good luck throughout the coming year. Torre di Pietra Vineyards wants to ensure good luck to all – along with great food, great music and plenty of fun. There’s no cost to attend – just bring your appetite! Help select the cookoff winner by purchasing a PEOPLE’s Choice Kit available for $5. Proceeds will benefit art education in area public schools. (Black eyed peas and cornbread will also be available for all attendees to sample, no PEOPLE’s Choice purchase required.) The most coveted wine trail of the year! Vineyards and tasting rooms are cloaked in lights, warmth and holiday fun. Receive a collectible Christmas ornament and enjoy 1 – 3 complimentary tastes per person at each winery and special discounts on wine purchases. This is a self-guided wine trail to all 42 participating wineries. Tickets are limited and must be purchased online. 4th Annual Glöggfest at Pedernales Cellars - 11/8

Join Pedernales Cellars, 2916 Upper Albert Rd., is celebrating its seasonal dessert wine which has been made based on a Swedish family recipe from Pedernales’ owner Fredrik Osterberg.  Dubbed “Christmas in a bottle”, Glögg is the perfect complement to holiday meals.

Grape Stomp at Becker Vineyards - 8/30-31

"Stomp Me! Crush Me! Make Me Wine!" will be the battle cry for the 12th Annual Becker Vineyards Grape Stomp. The event takes place August 23, 24, 30 and 31. Souvenir T-shirts will be for sale (price: tba). Some people like to purchase shirts and put their grape "stomped" foot prints on the back as a souvenir. Children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult. The event is complimentary.

6th annual celebration of the grape harvest at Pedernales Cellars, 2916 Upper Albert Road, where patrons can purchase t-shirts to stomp on and enjoy live music.

Becker Vineyards Cooking Up Chili this July 4th

Becker Vineyards will be the stage for a July 4th Chili Cook-Off. A meeting for the chili cooks will start at 10:00 a.m., and chili judging begins at 2:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted for chili samples.  Live music by Brian Mullin.

Becker Vineyards Lavendar Festival - 4/27-28

Becker Vineyards will host its Annual Lavender Festival this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, at the winery located off Hwy 290 E., just 11 miles from Fredericksburg. Celebrate all things lavender while enjoying music, cooking demonstrations, vendors, and of course, wine! There’s no cost for admission. Parking is $5 per car. Luncheons will also be available at 12:30 p..m. each day and at a cost of $65 plus tax per person – reservations required.
