“Viva Texicana” Hill Country Fiesta - 9/28

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage in the Texas Hill Country.  Family fun with Stephanie Urbina Jones, Mariachi Nuevo Estilo A.D.M., Freedom Beat and Ballet Folklorico Dancers.  A special “Fiesta Fun Zone” with free children’s activities will take place from 4 to 6  pm and will feature educational and cultural arts, crafts and games including pinatas, mariachi musical chairs, tortilla toss, fiesta rubber ducks, storytelling in English and Spanish and more.  The Grito! King or Queen will be crowned and there will also be a jalapeno eating contest.  On the grounds of the Pioneer Museum, 325 W. Main Street. 4 to 9 pm.  $12 adults; $6 children.
