Two-Stepping Dance Hall Music
Come to the Texas Dance Hall concert for the 7th Season of the Roots Music series
Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Pioneer Museum in Fredericksburg
The Music
Jesse Dayton kick starts the evening with his five-piece band playing two hours of "turbo country."
Dale Watson - one of "country music's last authentic voices" - brings his "Ameripolitan" style of great traditional western swing infused with a fresh energy.
The Food
Starting at 5:30 p.m., My Own Chef serves a mouthwatering buffet of meatloaf topped with tomato gravy, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole, all for $7. Dessert is lemon cake for $2.25. Guests can also enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks, and water.
